🧑🏫 How to use it in class
- Open itOpen myminicat.com/teachers/ on the board, or share the link or the QR code on the handout. Nothing to install and no log-in.
- Show it togetherDo the first lesson on the board as a class: the times tables and Add & Subtract lessons start with pictures (groups, arrays, ten frames) before numbers.
- Practise on any deviceChildren practise at their own pace on tablets, Chromebooks or computers. There are no timers and no mean fails, only stars.
- CelebratePrint the diplomas or a printable certificate and put them on a class “Diploma wall”.
🏆 Run a weekly class challenge
The Times Tables and Add & Subtract lessons end with a Fuzz & Cola diploma. Turn them into a gentle weekly class challenge:
- MondayPick the table (or Add & Subtract step) of the week. Follow the guided path: 2×, 5×, 10× → 4×, 8× → 3×, 6×, 9× → 7× → 11×, 12×.
- Mon–ThuFive minutes a day: lesson first, then practice. On shared devices, switch on “Practice any (free pick)” so every child can open the table of the week.
- FridayStar quiz, a tiny story problem, then “My diploma!”. Children can add their first name on the diploma (optional, it never leaves the device) and print it or save it as a picture.
- Every weekAdd the diplomas to the class wall. When a child has every table, the master diploma unlocks. Use the printable reward chart to track the class challenge.

Questions from teachers
Is My Mini Cat really free?
Yes. Every lesson, game and printable is free. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no paid “premium” version.
Do my students need accounts or an email address?
No. Nobody signs up: not children and not teachers. We never ask for a name, email, photo or location. Progress (stars, unlocked tables, diplomas) is saved only in the browser on that device.
What about shared classroom tablets?
Saved cats and progress belong to the browser, so the next child on the same device sees them too. Use “Practice any (free pick)” in Times Tables, and clear the website data in the browser settings if you want a fresh start.
Does it use AI?
Only in optional extras: the chat with Fuzz and Cola and the two picture buttons in the cat maker and Draw. The lessons, printables and games on this page do not need them. If your school does not allow AI tools, simply skip those buttons. Our privacy notice explains exactly what they send.
Which languages are there?
The cat maker, games pages, times tables and Add & Subtract are available in English, Norwegian, Spanish, Russian, Uzbek, Persian, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese. This teacher page and the printable PDFs are in English for now.
Who made Fuzz and Cola?
Fuzz and Cola were created by a young artist from Norway who was 9 when she drew them. Her family runs the website.
