Why Cats Love Playing
💡 Did you know?
- When cats pounce, chase and bat at toys, they are practising hunting moves, just like wild cats!
- Kittens play-fight with their brothers and sisters. It teaches them to be gentle with their teeth and claws.
- Cats love wand toys with feathers, little balls and crinkly toys. And a cardboard box makes a great cat fort!
- Always play with a toy, never with your hands, so your cat learns that hands are for gentle pets.
- Put strings, ribbons and wool away after play. A cat could swallow them, and that is dangerous!
