🫧 The Bubble Kingdom

Mimi the kitten loved bath time, which was very unusual for a cat. She didn't like the water, but she loved the bubbles.

One evening, she blew on a big, shiny bubble, and it didn't pop. Instead, it grew and grew, wobbling with rainbow colors, until it was big enough for a kitten to step inside.

So she did. Pop! No, the bubble didn't burst; it made a soft sound as it closed around her. Then it floated up, out of the bathroom window, into the twilight sky.

The bubble drifted to a land where everything was made of bubbles. Bubble trees, with bubble leaves that wobbled in the breeze. Bubble houses with round bubble doors. A bubble river that bounced instead of flowing.

The Bubble Queen floated over, wearing a crown of tiny bubbles. "Welcome, Mimi," she said. "You're the first cat ever to visit. Most cats pop us!"

"I would never," said Mimi seriously. "Bubbles are too pretty." The Queen smiled and gave her a tour. They bounced on bubble trampolines and slid down a bubble slide, and Mimi giggled the whole time.

When the sky grew dark, the Queen gave Mimi a tiny bubble to keep. It shimmered like a pearl. "Blow on it when you want to remember us," she said.

Mimi's bubble floated her home and set her gently on her bath mat. She dried off, curled up, and kept the tiny bubble on her windowsill. It never popped, not ever.
