Bramble's Treasure Map

Bramble found a piece of paper under the doormat. It had a dotted line, a big X and three words: "Treasure for Bramble!"
"A treasure map!" Bramble gasped. His tail stood straight up like a flagpole. "I'm going on a quest!"
The first clue said: "Start where the water falls." Bramble thought hard. Then he ran to the garden, where the watering can dripped onto the flowers. Drip, drip, splash! Under the can was another piece of paper.
"Go where the birds eat." Bramble trotted to the bird feeder. Two sparrows were having breakfast. They chirped hello and pointed their beaks at the hedge. Tucked in the leaves was the next clue.
"Look where you sleep when it's sunny." Bramble knew that one right away. He raced inside to the sunny windowsill. There, under his favorite cushion, was the last note: "Look behind you!"
Bramble turned around. There stood his little friend Hazel, the girl who lived in his house, holding a brand-new toy: a feather on a stick, with a tiny bell on the end.
"Surprise!" she said. "I made the map for you!" Bramble leaped at the feather. It jingled and fluttered and danced. He played until he was too tired to move his whiskers.
That night, Bramble curled up next to Hazel's bed with the feather toy under his paw. It was the best treasure in the world, but the best part was the hunt they had shared.
