Bella the cat found an old book of spells in the attic. Most of the spells were very complicated. But one was short: "To become a mini cat, wiggle your whiskers and say: Tiny, tiny, teeny-wee!"

"That sounds fun," said Bella. She wiggled her whiskers. "Tiny, tiny, teeny-wee!" Sparkle! In a swirl of glitter, she shrank, and shrank, and shrank, until she was no bigger than a thimble.

Everything looked enormous! The chair was a mountain. A crumb was a boulder. A spider in the corner waved at her. "Hello, neighbor!" it said. "You're my size now!"

Bella explored the dollhouse in the corner of the room. She climbed the tiny stairs, sat on the tiny sofa and lay in the tiny bed. It was just the right size. "This is perfect," she giggled.

Then she rode on the back of the family's tortoise all the way across the kitchen floor. It was a slow but very exciting journey. She drank a drop of water from a spoon, and it was like a whole swimming pool.

But then the family's big dog, Duke, walked in. To a mini cat, his footsteps sounded like thunder, and his nose was as big as a car. Duke sniffed curiously. "Oh, it's just me, Duke," squeaked Bella. Duke tilted his head and gave her a very gentle lick, which was like a warm bath.

"Time to be big again," decided Bella, giggling and soggy. She checked the spell book. "To become big again, wiggle your tail and say: Big, big, back to me!" She wiggled her tail. "Big, big, back to me!"

Pop! She was her normal size again, sitting on the attic floor. She closed the book and smiled. Being a mini cat was fun, but being just the right size was the best of all.
